About London-based writer, journalist and copywriter David McCandless.

"I wrote this book for two reasons. Because I love the internet. And because I hate the internet. Every day, I collapse into bed, my eyes bleeding from an overdose of websites, emails, and blogs. I created this book in honour of the glutty, crazed, multi-coloured temple of electronic madness that generates that websick feeling. It sets out to mock the internet and also what I find ridiculous about our information-drenched world. I hope you love it. I hope you hate it. David."

about me
I write about technology, underground culture, the internet - anything strange and interesting for places like Wired and The Guardian. I first started mocking the web on the BBC webzine Seethru.co.uk. My copywriting for people like Amnesty International and Sony Playstation has won awards. Mostly though, I like to make jokes.
